Snail African Batik Stamp (PRE-ORDER)
Ships June 21st
Handmade African batik foam stamps, carved by master artisan stamp makers in Accra, Ghana. Each stamp features a traditional Adinkra symbol, hand-carved with precision and ready to use with wax for batik textile making.
How to use: When applying wax, turn the stamp upside down between uses to prevent the carved surface from being damaged or flattened. The wax will remain on the stamp after use, which is normal.
How to clean: Steep the stamp in warm water (not boiling) to gently melt the wax off the surface. Allow it to dry completely before storing. Avoid scrubbing or pulling at the foam.
Please note: Every stamp is handmade and completely unique. Even when the same design is replicated, no two stamps look alike. That is the nature of the craft and part of what makes each piece one of a kind. Handle with care and they will last through many uses.
